The Seat Ibiza Mk2, sold under the internal code 6K from 1993 to 2002, ran on the SEAT/Volkswagen PQ24 platform and covered a wide range of variants including the GTi 16V, the Cupra, and the Cupra Sport. The 16V and Cupra models in particular built a club motorsport following in the mid-1990s and are still competitive in class-based club racing. The 6K body has its own floor geometry: it shares the PQ24 platform family with the 6L that followed it but the mounting positions are at different spacing, which is why there are separate sub-frames for each generation.
This Corbeau sub-frame is built around the 6K Ibiza’s specific floor bolt positions. Working off the original fixings avoids any drilling and keeps the seat mounting within the structural design of the floor. Depending on the configuration Corbeau have developed for the 6K floor, the kit may be a complete replacement frame with sliding runner or an adaptation bracket arrangement.
