The Seat Arosa ran from 1997 to 2004 on the PQ24 platform shared with the Volkswagen Lupo. It was the smallest car in the Seat range and, at under 800 kilograms in its lightest form, genuinely light. The 1.4-litre 16-valve and the GTi variants developed a following in autocross and budget class events because the Lupo/Arosa platform handles well and the running costs are low. The Arosa’s cockpit is narrow enough that seat fit matters more than in a larger car, and a bucket seat fitted without the correct sub-frame tends to end up too high in the limited headroom available.
This Corbeau sub-frame is designed for the Arosa’s floor fixing layout. The PQ24 platform in the Arosa has specific floor bolt positions that differ from the Polo Mk4 and Fox that share the same platform architecture, so those sub-frames are not interchangeable with this one. The kit uses the original bolt points and may be a complete replacement frame with sliding runner or adaptation brackets depending on the specific configuration.
