The Peugeot 106 ran from 1991 to 2004 and produced two competition-oriented variants: the 106 Rallye and the 106 GTi. The Rallye in S1 form used the TU3J2 engine and weighed under 800 kilograms, making it one of the lightest production hot hatches of its decade. The S2 Rallye added the XSi engine and more power. The GTi with the 1.6-litre TU5J4 followed from 1996. Both the Rallye and GTi are heavily used in junior club motorsport and budget class circuit events. At under 800 kilograms, the 106 Rallye is one of the lighter cars in the Corbeau sub-frame range, and every additional kilogram matters proportionally more than it does in a heavier car.
This Corbeau sub-frame is matched to the 106’s floor fixing positions. The 106 shares the Saxo platform but the floor bolt positions differ from the Citroen version, so those sub-frames are not interchangeable. The kit uses the 106’s original bolt points without modification, and the configuration may be a complete replacement frame or adaptation brackets depending on what Corbeau have developed for this floor.
