RRB against RRS

The RRB and the RRS are the two Sportline reclining shells and they sit 40 apart in tartan: 1380 here, 1420 for the RRS. The RRB is the more upright and slightly more supportive of the two through the sides, which some drivers prefer in a car that gets driven with intent. Sit in both if you can.

The plain RRB pair is 770. The rest is the tartan, cut and trimmed in house on velour and vinyl.

What a reclining sport seat is for

A car you drive every day, carry people in, and want to be held in properly on a good road. It reclines and it tilts. It is not a fixed bucket and it does not pretend to be, so if the car is a track car, look at the fixed-back tartans.

Heating and lumbar

Both optional on the pair. Heated seats come with their own loom and switch to fit, so decide before installation.

Base mount, frames separate

They sit on their base rather than between side mounts. Tell us the car and we will add the right frames.

Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.

Corbeau seats are handcrafted here in the UK

FIA bucket seats are built to order, typically 3 to 7 days from the day you order. Kevlar and carbon shells take longer, so ask us if you are working to a date.

Reclining sport seats are also made to order in your chosen trim, and run to a similar timescale.

Seats built to a specification you have chosen are made for your order, so our special order terms apply once production has started.
