The Corbeau GT4 is the most affordable seat in the Corbeau retro range. A fixed-back steel shell with pressed eyelets across the back panel, the same decorative detail used on production GT racing seats during the 1960s and 1970s. Trimmed in black vinyl or vinyl with cloth centre panels. The eyelets are an ordering option, so the plain back panel is available if you prefer the cleaner look. Part code GT4, with an integrated headrest.
It suits the classic GT interior where you want a period-correct appearance without the higher price of the Alpine or GT8. At £300, it sits £90 below the Alpine and £125 below the GT8. Against the Classic (120804, £10 less), the GT4 adds the eyelet detail and the GT car styling. Against the GT8, it gives up the highback construction and the 5-slot harness facility.
4-point harness compatible, base mount, Corbeau standard bolt pattern (291mm x 330mm or 345mm x 271mm). For Triumphs, MGs, early Porsches and other cars with flat floors, the GT4’s proportions work without alteration in most cases. Inflatable lumbar support is available as an upgrade option.

Will I fit in this seat?
The maker lists no driver size restriction on this seat, so it suits the full range of heights and waists. Is this seat FIA approved?
No, this is a road and track day seat rather than a homologated competition seat. For events that require an FIA seat, look at the FIA-approved shells in the range, and ask us if you are unsure what your series needs.
What do I need to fit it to my car?
This is a base-mount seat: it bolts down through its base, the simpler stack for road cars. You will need the car-specific frame, and a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Does it work with harnesses and a HANS device?
The shell takes 4 point compatible. If you are planning the full seat, harness, and HANS setup, tell us the car and we will spec it end to end.
How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Fair question, because makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike in the car.
