The Cobra Sebring Pro-Fit GT in houndstooth, the wider-waist FIA-approved fibreglass shell. Part number Cobra-Sebring-GT-Houndstooth.

Houndstooth is a period pattern rather than a modern one, and that is the point of it. It was a genuine trim on performance cars of the sixties and seventies, so on a Cobra shell it reads as correct rather than as decoration. Classic black and white check, let into the centre panel rather than printed.

Fibreglass shell, 935mm tall, 590mm wide, 500mm base, 690mm deep. The GT designation means shaped for a 36 to 38 inch waist, with broader lateral bolsters. Integrated headrest. FIA 8855-1999 approval. Side mount only.

Trim is 3D SpaceTech fabric with a houndstooth centre panel and black stitching.

Hand trimmed in the UK. Made to order, four to six weeks. Driver or passenger side at checkout. Seat only, no mounting hardware.

This is the Cobra Sebring Pro-Fit GT shell in the houndstooth trim option, made to order. Houndstooth is a trim finish, it does not change the shape, approval or mounting of the standard Cobra Sebring Pro-Fit GT seat: FIA 8855-1999 approved, 36in to 38in waist.

Will my existing frame or brackets still fit it?
Yes. The shell, shape and mounting are the same as the plain Cobra Sebring Pro-Fit GT, so any bracket, frame or fitting kit that suits the standard version fits this one too.

Will I fit in this seat?
Waist size and height are the maker's paper numbers. How a seat actually feels to sit in and climb out of is a different question, so call us with your height and waist and we will give you the honest answer.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
