The Nogaro shell is fibreglass, 910mm tall, 560mm wide across the back, 490mm at the base. It suits drivers over 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist. No FIA approval on any Nogaro variant, so this is a road and track-day seat rather than a competition seat. For club racing where homologation is required, look at the Imola or Sebring range instead.
The GR Yaris side mounts included are black steel, M8 sized, specific to the car’s floor pick-up points. They bolt directly to the Yaris floor without drilling. A note on the car itself: the GR Yaris ships with a purposeful driver’s seat from Toyota, so replacing it is a deliberate choice rather than an obvious upgrade. The reason to do it is lateral support in a sustained circuit session, which the Nogaro’s moulded fibreglass shell provides where the original production seat does not.
Trim options at order: black Amalfi leather and black Dinamica suede centre, the same combination with a tartan centre, or a bespoke one or two colour Amalfi or leather and Dinamica combination. Heated seat and lumbar support can be added. Driver side or passenger side specified at checkout.
The Nogaro is heavier than it looks. The shell alone sits at around 7.9kg, which means this conversion adds rather than removes weight against the factory seat. The gain is structural, not on the scales.
