Houndstooth is a period pattern rather than a modern one, and that is the point of it. It was a genuine trim on performance cars of the sixties and seventies, so on a Cobra shell it reads as correct rather than as decoration. Classic black and white check, let into the centre panel rather than printed.
GT adds 30mm across the shell for a 36 to 38 inch waist, the widest waist band in Cobra’s competition range. Measure over the kit you actually race in, not over a shirt.
900mm tall, 590mm wide, 730mm deep on a 475mm base, at 10.3kg, the narrowest base of Cobra’s three side mount shells, giving the snuggest lower hold.
