The Cobra Daytona in houndstooth, a reclining sport seat. Part number DAY-HOUNDSTOOTH.

Houndstooth is a period pattern rather than a modern one, and that is the point of it. It was a genuine trim on performance cars of the sixties and seventies, so on a Cobra shell it reads as correct rather than as decoration. Classic black and white check, let into the centre panel rather than printed.

The wider of Cobra’s two reclining houndstooth-eligible seats: 580mm across on a 530mm base, at 13.5kg, in fabric rather than vinyl. 865mm tall, 620mm deep, reclining, with an orthopaedic backrest, lumbar support, deep side bolsters and an integral head pad.

Four point harness facility through a single slot in the head pad. The reclining mechanism is tested and approved to ECE R17 and FMVSS207.

Base mount. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.

Hand trimmed in the UK. Seat only. Cobra frames include the sliding runner.
