The Cobra Classic RS in houndstooth, the narrow-based competition variant of the Classic shell. Part number Cobra-Classic-RS-Houndstooth.

Houndstooth is a period pattern rather than a modern one, and that is the point of it. It was a genuine trim on performance cars of the sixties and seventies, so on a Cobra shell it reads as correct rather than as decoration. Classic black and white check, let into the centre panel rather than printed.

725mm tall, 490mm wide, 340mm base, 760mm deep, at 8.7kg. The 340mm base is the narrowest in the Cobra range, sitting close to the 291mm bolt pattern spacing, which lets the RS fit between floor points that would not accommodate a wider seat base.

No integrated headrest despite the 725mm height. Base mount only. No FIA approval. Road and track. All heights and waist sizes.

Hand trimmed in the UK. Driver or passenger side at checkout. Seat only.
