An estate is a family car first
That is the honest starting point. An E91 carries people and things, and a fixed back bucket in the front of one is a poor decision you make once: no recline, awkward entry, and it makes the car worse at the job it exists for.
The Misano is the seat for wanting proper support in a car that still has to be practical. It reclines, it adjusts, and it holds you when you drive it well.
Think about the passenger side too
Most people do the driver’s seat and consider the other side later. Two things worth knowing: a supportive seat next to a standard one is obvious every journey, and the passenger side carries occupancy sensing for the airbag, so it is the more involved of the two rather than the easy one.
If you intend to do both eventually, tell us now and we will make sure the pair are trimmed to match. These are made to order, and matching a colour months later is harder than specifying two at once.
The seat
885mm tall, 590mm wide, 620mm deep on a 520mm base, at 11.5kg. The backrest is fibreglass, the base steel, and that split is what puts this seat where it is in the range rather than at the bottom of it. Base mount at 291mm x 330mm, 4 point harness compatible. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.
