The Type GT Yellow Tartan (SS 85Y) puts yellow and black tartan fabric inserts into the GT reclining shell, with black vinyl bolsters on the sides. It is the most striking of the four GT Tartan colours. Where the grey and blue options fade into the background, the yellow makes a deliberate statement. It works well in builds where yellow is already a theme: exterior accents, brake calipers, stitching elsewhere in the car.
Steel frame, 405mm x 280mm base-mount bolt pattern, reclining backrest, no headrest, all heights and sizes. Sliders in the box. The tartan insert covers the centre of the seat base and backrest; the bolsters are plain black vinyl. Fitting frame purchased separately. 4-point harness compatible.
At £281.25 this is the same price as the other three GT Tartan colours. The Blue (SS 85B), Grey (SS 85G) and Red (SS 85R) tartan variants are available at that price if the yellow reads as too much for the build. No FIA approval. Part number SS 85Y.
