The red tartan version of the GT range. Part number SS 85R, £287.50 single. The red tartan is the stronger of the two main GT Tartan colours: more visible, more suited to a build with red accents in the engine bay or exterior, and closer to the motorsport-inspired look the GT family is styled around.
Same shell as all four GT Tartan variants. The 405mm x 280mm bolt pattern is the same across the GT, AK, RK, and VGR ranges. It does not share a frame with the 345mm seats that make up most of the reclining range. If the current frame is 345mm, a different adaptor is needed.
If the choice between red and grey is marginal, the grey (SS 85G) reads more neutrally in a dark interior. The red makes more of a statement and pairs naturally with cars that already run red trim, red brake callipers, or red stitching elsewhere in the cabin.
Reclining, steel frame, base mount, sliders included. No headrest. Road and Track approval, all heights and all waist sizes.
The AK single (SS74, £235) covers the same 405mm bolt pattern at £52.50 less without the tartan trim. Where the tartan is not the point and the 405mm frame is already in place, the AK is the practical entry seat. The GT Tartan is the choice specifically for the tartan finish.

Will I fit in this seat?
The maker lists no driver size restriction on this seat, so it suits the full range of heights and waists. What do I need to fit it to my car?
