Both sides in one order
Handed for driver and passenger. If you are doing both seats this is the order to place, and it saves the situation where the second frame is ordered months later and turns out to be the same hand as the first.
For one seat only, the single frame is the correct listing.
Vauxhall or Opel
Vauxhall in the UK and Opel elsewhere, the same car either way. Astra generations do not share floor mounting points, so check the generation rather than the model name. Send us the registration if you are unsure.
What you get for a pair
Both frames carry two bolt patterns: 345mm by 271mm for Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, and 405mm by 290mm for Recaro. The plates have multi-hole clusters at each corner, which is what allows both.
Worth knowing when you are buying two seats at once, because it means you are not committed to one seat brand by the frame choice.
Fitting
Steel, base mount, onto the mounting points already in the floor. Nothing is drilled and the standard seats come out whole and go back in.
A side mount shell needs side mounts or adaption bars fitted over the frame. Tell us which seats you are fitting and we will confirm the pairing before dispatch.
