Austin Healey Classic Seat Options

We tested a range of different classic sport seats and retro bucket seats for the Austin Healey with the help of our customer. We tried them all in the cockpit to check them against the interior trims and ensure they would fit without causing any problems with the door shutting or sit to close to the steering wheel.
The Cobra Cub was by far the best choice due to its compact size, proportions and design. This seat sat in the cock pit space nicely even against the roll bar which was fitted so this became our recommended seat.
Fitment Frames: To raise it off the floor we recommend using the Cobra sliding runners and rails. This will give a little more height and some adjustability regarding your seating position. This is not essential though but a strong recommendation, also please remember that all seats should be fitted by a skilled professional as the fitting of the seats may require modifications or fixing brackets made to the floor plan.
