Takata Race Series Harnesses

Takata RACE harnesses are engineered in Germany to meet the latest FIA safety standards and deliver premium motorsport performance. The 6-point belts come with compact 2-inch lap straps and either 3-inch shoulder straps or HANS-compatible 3-inch to 2-inch tapered versions. They feature Takata’s compact T-Bar sub-strap and offer snap-on and bolt-on mounting options. Versions with 3-inch lap belts are also available with SFI homologation. The 4-point harnesses in the RACE Series include the ASM (Anti-Submarining Mechanism), which activates under critical impact to release extra shoulder webbing for better upper-body movement. These 4-point models use a unique bendable stainless steel bracket, designed to simplify installation to factory seatbelt points.
