Most of our vehicle guides exist because customers asked for them. When enough people phone or email about fitting seats to the same car, we write a guide for it, and there are now hundreds of them, all reachable from the vehicle selector at the top of the site.

What is on this page
What a vehicle guide covers
Each guide shows the fitting equipment available for one car: base frames, side mounts and sliding runner kits. It then recommends fixed back bucket seats and reclining seats that we know work with that equipment and that car, from past fitting experience.
Where a car has more than one bracket option, the guide shows the different ways of installing the seat, and it says when a bracket only suits a small range of seats. That way the frame and the seat you order are compatible with each other and with the car. Fitting a reclining seat is a different job from fitting a fixed back bucket, so every guide explains both.

These are some of the most common customer cars we see, in the showroom and online. All of them get used on track days, and some in FIA events, so the guides cover seats for the road as well as proper competition seats.

Comfortable seats for off-roaders
Not every guide is about bucket seats. For vehicles like Land Rovers and Jeeps, which are not going to see fast road or track use, we only recommend reclining sport seats. People fitting seats to these want more comfort and support than the standard seats give, not a racing seat.

If you cannot find a guide for your car, get in touch. Tell us the make, model and year, and we will do our best to put a new guide together, which is how most of the existing ones started.
Garreth’s advice is to send your height and waist measurements at the same time. The car decides which frames will fit, but your size decides which seats are right, and we can talk you through both in one go.
