The OMP HTE Evo is one of the latest additions to our range, and it is now on our website. It is a head supported bucket seat with a gel coated fibreglass shell, built for off road use.
What makes it an off road seat is the trim. The pads are neoprene, and they come out to be washed, so mud and water are not the problem they would be for a velour seat.

What the HTE Evo is
The HTE Evo has deep side bolsters and head support wings that come round past your ears. On rough ground your head moves about far more than it does on a circuit, and a shell that supports it takes a lot of work off your neck over a long day.
The neoprene pad set is comfortable and does not hold water or mud the way a woven trim does. The pads are removable and washable, which keeps the seat usable in a vehicle that lives outside and gets driven through the wet.
It is a fixed back, side mount seat with slots for a 4 or 6 point harness, and OMP list it for all heights across a 32 to 36 inch waist. It is rated for road and track, not FIA homologated, so if your class asks for an approved seat, tell us and we will point you to one. The full details are on the HTE Evo listing.
Fitting the HTE Evo
The seat comes on its own, so it needs side mounts and either a subframe made for the vehicle or a fabricated mounting. Off road vehicles vary a great deal underneath, so Garreth’s advice is to tell us the vehicle before you order and we will check what it takes. Other OMP seats and harnesses
OMP make seats for every kind of motorsport, from the World Rally Championship to GT racing and the Dakar. For events that need an FIA approved seat, the OMP HTE-R and WRC-R are both FIA approved fibreglass seats, and the WRC-R is also offered as a bundle with a harness.
OMP harnesses come in 4 and 6 point versions with black, blue or red webbing and the OMP logo on the shoulder straps, so the seat and belts can match.
