OMP has brought out three new racing office and gaming chairs for 2024, and all three are now on our site: the OMP GS, the brighter GS-X, and a GS in an Automobili Lamborghini edition.
The GS takes its lead from an earlier OMP chair but has a sharper look, with more pronounced shoulder supports, cushion insets and harness-style slots in the backrest that can take an extra head cushion. Here is how the new chairs differ and where they sit next to OMP's original office chair.

The OMP GS office chair
The GS is OMP’s new mainstream office chair, part number HA0-0835-A01. It has a steel frame and vinyl trim, shaped like a road seat with bolsters either side of the centre panels. Height is set on a gas lift, the backrest reclines, and the base is a five arm star on castors. It has 3-way adjustable armrests that can be removed.
It comes in plain black, black with yellow, black with red, or black with OMP’s Airnet mesh through the centre. The mesh version is the one to look at for a warm room or long days at the desk, since it lets air move behind your back.
The OMP GS-X in race colours
The GS-X, part number HA0-0836-A01, is the same idea as the GS with a louder finish. The trim has 3D effect stitching, the base and wheels carry coloured inserts, and there is a racing spring on the gas piston. Its armrests adjust 4 ways.
Colours are black with orange, black with green, black with fluorescent yellow, or plain black. It suits a workshop, a sim racing room or a home office where you want the chair to be noticed.
The Lamborghini edition GS
OMP has also made a version of the GS for the Automobili Lamborghini collection. It is trimmed in black vinyl, with Lamborghini branding on the headrest and the backrest. Underneath it is the same GS chair, so the adjustment is the same.
OMP's original racing office chair
The new chairs sit alongside OMP’s existing office chair, part number HA777, which stays in the range. It is based on an OMP touring seat, with synthetic leather over a steel frame, a lever-operated recline, gas lift height adjustment and removable armrests. It comes in black on its own or with a second colour through the centre, including yellow, red, blue, white and Airnet.
OMP lists all three chairs as suitable for any height, with waist sizes from 28 to 38 inches. They arrive as complete chairs, so there is no separate base or adaptor plate to buy.

Which one to choose
If you want something smart for an office, the GS in black or black and Airnet is the safe choice. If the chair is going in a garage, a sim room or anywhere you want a splash of colour, the GS-X is the one. The Lamborghini edition is for anyone who wants the badge on it.
