At GSM Performance we came across this great video on YouTube by Accelerate showcasing their new Cobra Imola fixed back bucket seat installed into a Honda Civic EP3. We thought this was a really helpful video that walks you through how easily the seats were installed, how well they fit, and the benefits after replacing the factory seats inside the Honda Civic EP3. One of the main points made in the video was the mind-blowing weight-saving caused by the Cobra Imola seats weighing only 10KG each compared to the Type R factory seats which are 25/27 kg each.

Our Cobra Fitting Equipment For The Imola Seat

The set up they use in the video is a sliding runner and side mount combination that works with most narrow style bucket seats. We have linked below our fitting equipment that is compatible with the Cobra Imola bucket seat and will give you an easy and quick installation. Fixed back bucket seats from Cobra will need Cobra side mounts, other branded fitting equipment can’t be guaranteed for a perfect fit. Side mounted Cobra bucket seats will need a 405mm wide handle variation on a Cobra sliding runner if you are looking for more movement and adjustment for your seats.
