Jack has just finished adding the full Custom Cages Renault range to the site and it is a good one. Ten of the seventeen kits are brand new for 2026, covering seven different Renault models. If you have been waiting for a proper UK-made roll cage for your Clio, Megane, Twingo, or one of the classic R5s, we now have you sorted.
Cameron has been through every listing and the range is wider than we have had before. Every kit is weld-in, built in the UK by Custom Cages, and available in CDS or T45 chromoly steel. Prices start at £695 for a 6-point National and go up to £1,545 for a fully braced Multipoint T45.
Custom Cages Renault Roll Cages 2026 — The Full Range

- Renault Clio MK1 – 6-point National CDS (new for 2026) and International Multipoint T45
- Renault Clio MK2 – 6-point National CDS (new for 2026) and International Multipoint T45
- Renault Clio MK3 – International Multipoint T45
- Renault Megane MK2 – 6-point National CDS, Multipoint CDS, and Multipoint T45 (all new for 2026)
- Renault Twingo MK2 – 6-point National CDS, Multipoint CDS, and Multipoint T45 (all new for 2026)
- Renault 5 Turbo (1980-84) – T45 weld-in
- Renault 5 MK2 (1985-96) – Multipoint CDS and Multipoint T45 (new for 2026)
Who Are These Cages For?
This range covers a lot of different types of driver, which is what stood out when Cameron went through the listings.
If you are building a Clio Cup car or putting a Megane together for club rally, the 6-point National Spec CDS at £695 is the one to look at. A proper weld-in at a price that makes sense for the class.
Step up to the Multipoint CDS or T45 and you are into MSA-compliant territory for stage rally and circuit racing. The International Multipoint T45 kits for the Clio MK2 and MK3 at £1,674 cover most UK national events without needing to go further.
The R5 Turbo kit is worth picking out separately. Good cage options for the 1980-84 Turbo are hard to come by and this is the right one for a proper build.
All of these are weld-in only, so you will need a fabricator. Worth knowing before you order.
FIA vs MSA: Which Do You Need?
FIA and MSA sound more complicated than they are.
MSA, now called Motorsport UK, covers UK domestic events. Club rallying, track days, national circuit racing – if that is what you are doing, an MSA-approved cage is what you need. Most of the Custom Cages Renault range carries MSA approval where it applies.
FIA is the international standard. You need it for WRC, international rallying, and certain top-level circuit events. If you are doing regional or national club motorsport in the UK, you generally do not need FIA approval unless your event regs specifically say so.

Getting It Fitted
All Custom Cages Renault roll cages are weld-in, which means they need to be fitted by someone who knows what they are doing with a welder. This is not a job to cut corners on. The cage only protects you if it is properly built into the shell.
Most customers use a local motorsport fabricator. If you have not got one and you are not sure where to look, give us a call and we can often point you in the right direction.
