A pair of steel adapter bars that bolt across the top of a pair of seat sliders, or across a fitting frame, and give the seat a different bolt pattern to sit on. Each bar bolts down at 405mm wide and takes the seat at 345mm or 291mm, so a slider or frame built to the wide 405mm pattern can carry a seat made for either of the narrower ones.
Where they get used
Cobra’s direct fit frame for the Volkswagen Up is built to their wide 405mm pattern, the one the Nogaro sits on, with Cobra’s 405mm wide sliders on top. To put a seat with a narrower base on that frame, such as a Cobra Monaco Pro on its base mounting points or a Corbeau reclining sport seat, the bars go across the 405mm sliders and the seat bolts to the bars. The same idea works across a range of other sliders and frames where the seat and the frame do not share a bolt pattern.
On the VW Up frame, the Cobra Nogaro is the one seat that fits directly, on its own Nogaro side mounts and brackets, so it does not need these bars. Every other seat on that frame does. Our VW Up fitting guide shows the whole stack.

Before you order
Tell us the frame, the sliders and the seat you are putting together, and we will confirm the bars suit that combination before anything ships. The bars add a little height under the seat, so allow for it in a car with a low roof. Sold as a pair, which does one seat.
