Street means no harness slots
The shoulders are closed, so this is the one for a car keeping its standard three point belt. If you want to run a harness, the Circuit is the same seat with the slots cut.
The trim
Black vinyl over the surround, shoulders and bolsters, with orange and black pepita through the centre panels. The backrest centre is split into four padded flutes running across the seat. White stitching throughout, which is what lifts it, picking out every seam against the black.
Pepita is the German name for the fine houndstooth check, the small broken star that repeats on a grid. It has been a period motorsport trim since the sixties and it suits an air cooled Porsche or a hot hatch equally well.
The shell
910mm tall, 560mm wide, 490mm across the base, 710mm deep, at 7.9kg. Side mount only. Drivers over 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.
If your class needs FIA approval
The Nogaro family is not the right shell for that. Road and Track approved throughout, no FIA homologation. The Imola, Suzuka and Sebring carry FIA 8855-1999 if you need the paperwork.
