Customer question, 2013 Toyota GT86 ZN6
A customer sent this one over as a screenshot this week. He has a 2013 GT86, he wants a Bride Stradia III in it, and he had already worked out that the rail is the part that decides whether the job goes smoothly. He is right, and the note he sent is right too, which is not something we get to say very often about a screenshot.
The Stradia III needs a BRIDE Type RO Super Seat Rail. The mounting is 260mm long, made up of 25mm plus 235mm, by 405mm wide, and the part numbers for a right hand drive 86 are T901RO for the driver side and T902RO for the passenger side. All of that holds up against our own catalogue.
Checking it turned up something at our end. We list eight different Bride rails for the ZN6 and not one of them was the RO, so the exact rail his seat needs was missing from the site. How Bride split their rail range
Bride do this differently to the European brands and it catches people out. With Sparco or OMP you buy a car-specific frame, then a runner if you want to slide, then side mounts if the seat needs them. With Bride you buy one part, the Super Seat Rail, and the slider is already in it. That is the whole fitting kit for one seat.
The catch is that Bride then split that rail range into types, and the type is chosen by which Bride seat is going on top of it, not by your budget or how low you want to sit. Get the car right and the type wrong and the seat will not bolt down. Every rail listing on our site carries a line called BRIDE seat compatibility, and that line is the answer to this whole question.
Which rail a Stradia III needs
The Type RO. Our own RO listings name the seats it takes in their own words: GIAS series, STRADIA series, edirb 023 and 033, CUGA series, VORGA series, BRIX2, ERGO2, XAX2 and PROS. The Stradia III is in the Stradia series, so that is settled.
It is a bottom mount rail. The seat sits down onto the top frame of the rail on the 260mm by 405mm pattern and bolts through, and the rail itself bolts to your original floor mounting points. Nothing is drilled and no side mounts are involved.
For a right hand drive 86 the part numbers are T901RO for the driver side and T902RO for the passenger side. Every Bride rail we list for the 86 follows that same T901 and T902 convention with the type on the end, so the numbers in your screenshot are the right shape as well as the right part.
The eight rails that will not take your seat
Worth seeing the whole picture before you order anything, because we list eight other Bride rails for the ZN6, several of them cheaper, and not one of them will take a Stradia III. This is where people lose money on this car.
Every BRIDE rail type, and which BRIDE seats it takes
Every one of these comes off the BRIDE seat compatibility line on our own listing for that rail, checked on 14 August 2026. The RO row picked out in blue is the only one that names the Stradia series. The XR is the one to be careful with: it uses the same 260mm by 405mm pattern as the RO, so it looks like a match on paper, but Bride list it for the Stradia II type-XL and not for the Stradia III. A matching bolt pattern is not the same thing as Bride saying it fits.

All prices include VAT and are correct on 15 August 2026. The Stradia III is a variable listing, so the colour, the shell material and the cushion depth you pick change what you pay for the seat. The rails are handed and sold per side, so a matching pair of seats is double the whole lot. Plenty of people do the driver side first and keep the factory seat on the passenger side.

If the Stradia is not set in stone
Worth putting on the table, because the seat is far and away the biggest number here. The MO rail is the other bottom mount reclining rail Bride make, we list it for the ZN6 at £264.00 a side under T901MO and T902MO, and its compatibility line reads EUROSTER series, DIGO series, edirb 032 and 054, EURO II series, BRIX, ERGO, XAX and REVS.
So a Bride Euroster II or a Digo III on an MO rail is the same kind of seat and the same kind of one part per side fitting job. The Euroster II Cruz is £1,265.47 and the Digo III Light Cruz is £1,168.13, which is roughly half the Stradia, and the rail is only £24 dearer.
Garreth would still order the Stradia if that is the seat you have your heart set on. It is a nicer seat and you will have it for years. The alternative is here because you should know it exists, not because we are steering you off it.
What we need from you before we order
Three things, and then Cameron can place it.
Confirm the chassis code. A 2013 car is a ZN6 and that is what we will order against, but the plate on the car settles it in five seconds and saves an argument later.
Tell us one side or both. Rails are handed and sold per side. Plenty of people do the driver side first and keep the factory seat on the passenger side, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Tell us if the car has seat airbags. Our Bride rail listings carry the same line on every one: replacing a seat with an integrated airbag may need a warning light canceller. Better to know now than to hand the car back with a light on the dash.
The rail is on the site now and you can order it yourself, but Bride rails are a special-order line so a call is worth five minutes. Give Cameron the chassis code, the sides you want and the Stradia III spec you are after, and he will come back with a realistic date on the whole lot instead of you finding out piece by piece.
Common questions on this
Do I need a subframe as well as the rail?
No. That is the European way of doing it. A Bride Super Seat Rail is the complete fitting kit for one seat, with the slider built in, and it bolts to your original floor mounting points.
Are T901RO and T902RO definitely the right part numbers?
They match the convention on every other Bride rail we list for the 86, where T901 is the right hand side and therefore the driver on a UK car, and T902 is the left. We will still confirm them with Bride when we place the order, because that is a five minute check that removes all doubt.
Can I use the XR rail? It has the same 260mm by 405mm pattern.
This is the trap on this car. The XR does use the same pattern, but Bride list it for the Stradia II type-XL, not the Stradia III, and we would not sell it to you for this seat on the strength of a matching bolt pattern alone. Ask us before you order it.
How low will the Stradia sit on an RO rail?
We do not publish a drop figure for the RO rail. Our listing says the seat position is vehicle dependent and we will leave it there, because a number we cannot stand behind is worse than no number. Some retailers describe the RO as a low rail. If sitting low is a priority, or if you are worried about the opposite, tell us and Cameron will talk it through with you.
Will it need drilling?
It should not. The rail is drawn to bolt to the standard floor mounting points on a ZN6. Torque the floor bolts properly and check your seat belt buckle clearance before you drive it, because a bucket seat often puts the buckle somewhere new.
Can I fit a harness to it?
The Stradia III is listed as 4 point compatible. If you are going down that road, tell us before you order the seat and we will look at the whole thing together, because the mounting points behind the seat are a separate conversation.
