BRIDE bucket-seat rail compatibility guide

BRIDE fitting equipment / workshop guide

BRIDE Super Seat Rails: which rail fits which seat?

A BRIDE rail is chosen from three facts together: the exact vehicle and chassis, the seating side, and the seat family. The rail code is not just a height choice. It also defines the mounting route and the seat pattern it is designed to accept.

The short version

Match the car, the side and the seat

Use the vehicle and chassis filters to find the rail, then select right or left. Finally compare the rail family with the exact BRIDE seat. A matching-looking hole pattern is not enough to approve a different seat or a different vehicle.

01 / VEHICLE

Exact chassis code

Match the chassis code, model and generation shown on the listing. Trim names and registration years can overlap.

02 / SIDE

Driver or passenger

For a right-hand-drive car, driver is normally the right side and passenger the left. Each selection has its own BRIDE MPN.

03 / SEAT

Correct rail family

Fixed-back, reclining, LOWMAX, wide and ZODIA seats use different families. Read the compatibility field on the product page.

One order supplies one rail for one seat. Two seats normally need two deliberately selected rails. Ordering quantity two of a driver-side option does not turn one rail into a passenger-side part.
The fitting stack

Work from the vehicle floor upwards

The BRIDE Super Seat Rail is the vehicle-specific frame and slider assembly. It is not a universal adaptor.

1. Vehicle floor

Original mounting points, cross-members, wiring and belt-buckle location.

2. BRIDE rail

The exact chassis, right/left side and rail-family MPN.

3. Seat interface

Side-mount or bottom-mount pattern specified for that rail family.

4. Exact seat

The named BRIDE series and version, including LOWMAX, XL or ZODIA where applicable.

Find the current rail for your vehicle

The BRIDE rail category can now be filtered by Make & Model, Chassis Code, BRIDE Rail Type, Fixing Type and Fixing Bolt Pattern.

Start with Make & Model

Choose the vehicle first, then use the chassis-code filter to remove similarly named generations.

Compare the technical fields

Check rail family, mounting route, pattern and the compatible-seat wording on the exact product.

Select the seating side

The official BRIDE MPN is shown against the driver/right or passenger/left variation.

Before fitting

Height, belts, airbags and road-car checks

A lower quoted position is an application maximum, not a guaranteed finished seating height. Seat-shell depth, recline, runner position, driver build and vehicle floor shape all affect the result.

Restraints

  • Confirm buckle and pretensioner mounting.
  • Check belt routing around the new bolsters.
  • Use approved harness anchorages where applicable.

Vehicle systems

  • Identify occupancy and position sensors.
  • Understand SRS warning implications.
  • Do not cut or bypass wiring on a guess.

Final position

  • Check steering-wheel and pedal reach.
  • Check helmet and door clearance.
  • Make sure both runner locks engage.
Common questions

BRIDE rail FAQs

Will a BRIDE rail fit a non-BRIDE seat?

Do not assume so from a nominal bolt pattern. The rail listings and this guide identify the BRIDE seat families intended for each route. A cross-brand installation needs every interface, thread, offset and structural requirement checked separately.

Are driver and passenger rails the same?

No. Vehicle brackets are normally handed and carry different manufacturer part numbers. Choose RHD driver/right or passenger/left deliberately.

Do I need separate runners?

A BRIDE Super Seat Rail is supplied as the vehicle-specific sliding rail assembly unless the individual listing says otherwise. Always use the kit contents on that product page as the reference.

Why are there several rail codes for the same car?

The vehicle floor interface can stay the same while the seat interface changes. BRIDE uses different families for standard fixed-back, reclining, LOWMAX, wide and dedicated seat applications.

Can I drill or elongate the mounting holes?

No fitting decision should begin by modifying the rail. If the holes do not align, stop and recheck the vehicle, side, rail family and seat part number.

What should I send for a compatibility check?

Send the vehicle model, year and chassis code; right or left seating side; exact BRIDE seat model; rail code or MPN; and photographs of any existing components.

Still unsure?

Send every part number in one message

Garreth or Cameron can check the car-to-rail and rail-to-seat interfaces together. That is much safer than confirming one dimension in isolation.

How do I fit BRIDE seats to my specific car?

BRIDE rails are vehicle specific, not a universal adaptor, so you need the exact chassis code, generation and seating side (driver or passenger) before you order. Fixed-back, reclining, LOWMAX, wide and ZODIA seats each use a different rail family, and two rails can share the same width while the bolt spacing, offset or thread differs, so don’t pick on dimensions alone.

Filter by make and model on the product page, confirm your chassis code against the listing, then send us the part number if you want it checked before you buy.
