Introducing the Cobra Nogaro Club Sport Ebisu Edition

Cobra have added a new edition to the Nogaro range, and it is hard to miss. The Nogaro Club Sport Ebisu Edition is trimmed all over in red velour, with red stitching and red Cobra embroidery, a look inspired by Japanese motorsport culture.
Underneath it is the Nogaro Club Sport, the same fibreglass shell with harness slots that we already sell and have in the showroom. So the Ebisu is about the look: you are choosing it because you want the interior to stand out. Here is what it is, the options, the dimensions and how it fits.

What is on this page
What the Ebisu Edition is
The Ebisu Edition is a named finish on the Nogaro Club Sport, not a different seat. It is covered in red velour, with matching red stitching and red Cobra embroidery. It suits a track build or a performance road car where the interior is being done properly.
The shell is the Nogaro's one piece fibreglass bucket, with deep side support to hold you in place, and it keeps the Club Sport's harness slots.

- Red Cobra embroidery on the back cushion as standard.
- Harness slots for a 4 or 6 point belt.
- Cut for tall drivers: over 6ft, with a 32 to 36 inch waist. The long backrest puts the harness slots above a tall driver’s shoulder line.

Options when you order
Cobra offer a few extras that make the seat easier to live with on the road:
- Heated seat, welcome in a British winter.
- Inflatable lumbar support, for lower back comfort on long drives.
- Heater and lumbar together.
There is also a second design: the Cobra logo can move from the back cushion to the head cushion. You choose it when you order. Each seat is hand trimmed in the UK to your specification.

The Ebisu shares the full height Nogaro shell, so its dimensions are the same as the other Nogaros:

Cobra Nogaro side mounts
The Nogaro is side mount only. Its shell bolts through its sides and uses a different attachment from the rest of the Cobra range, so it needs Cobra’s own Nogaro side mounts, which are cut to suit it. They will not fit other Cobra seats that use the standard 291mm base pattern. Mounts are sold individually, or as two pairs for a driver and passenger seat.
Cobra also offer a Nogaro sliding fitting kit if you want the seat to slide. Garreth’s advice is to tell us the car before you order, so we can match the mounts and a sub-frame to it.
The rest of the Nogaro range
The Ebisu joins a range with several versions:
- Nogaro Club Sport, the Ebisu’s base seat, in black velour.
- Nogaro Circuit, the harness slotted version with its own trims.
- Nogaro Street, made for a standard three point belt, with no harness slots.
- Special editions, such as the Tartan Edition.
We have the Nogaro Circuit and the Nogaro Club Sport in our showroom to sit in. The Club Sport is the same seat as the Ebisu in black, so it is the best way to check the fit before you order the red one.
