The Cobra Nogaro Circuit Tartan Edition, a fixed back bucket in fibreglass with harness slots. Part number Cobra-Nogaro-Circuit-Tartan.
Circuit means it takes a harness
Slots cut into the shoulders for a 4 or 6 point belt. That is what separates the Circuit from the otherwise identical Street Tartan Edition, which has none and is made for a standard three point belt.
So if harnesses are the plan now or later, this is the one. If the car keeps its factory belt and always will, the Street version saves you paying for slots you will not thread anything through.
Tartan on a competition shell
An unusual combination and a deliberate one. Tartan was a real period trim, and putting it on a modern fibreglass shell gives you a seat that suits a period build without giving up the support.
Hand trimmed in the UK and let properly into the centre panel. Tell us which tartan at checkout and we will confirm before it is made.
The shell
910mm tall, 560mm wide, 490mm across the base, 710mm deep, at 7.9kg. Side mount only. Drivers over 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.
If your class needs FIA approval
The Nogaro family is not the right shell for that. It is Road and Track approved throughout and carries no FIA homologation.
The Imola, Suzuka and Sebring all carry FIA 8855-1999 and have tartan trim options, so you can have the look and the approval together. Tell us the class and we will point you at the right one.
Seat only. Tell us the car for mounts and a subframe.
