The Luke Professional 5 Point Pro-Lite Harness is the five-point version in the Pro-Lite line. Five points means the lap, two shoulders, and a single sub-strap between the legs. The sub-strap clips into the central buckle and prevents the driver sliding under the lap belt in a heavy frontal impact.
Pro-Lite features: quick-release rotary buckle and clip-in shoulder strap installation. Road and Track approved, not FIA. Application: Saloon, with strap lengths cut for a saloon car chassis. Available in 50mm or 75mm, ten colours.
It sits between the Pro-Lite 4 Point and the Pro-Lite 6 Point. If your regulations require five-point minimum but do not specify six, this covers the requirement without the extra sub-strap complexity of a full six-point. If your regulations specify six-point, the Pro-Lite 6 is the one. The same comparison applies with the standard Professional range: HP024 is the 5-point standard, and the Pro-Lite adds the quick-release buckle and clip-in fitment.
If the car is a track-day car that sits in a trailer between events and you do not need to get in and out quickly, the standard HP024 costs less for the same point count and approval. If you are sharing the car with another driver or doing multiple short stints, the faster buckle justifies the step up.
