The Tillett EBR is a side mount bracket set for the Lotus Exige, designed to use the car’s OEM runner mounting points. SKU TILEBR. Aluminium construction.
By using the factory mounting holes, the EBR avoids the need to drill into the floor or fabricate custom mounting points, which is the preferred approach in a car as precisely engineered as the Exige. The bracket connects to Tillett seat runners as part of the complete installation, so runners are required alongside this bracket set.
The EBR applies to the Exige and the earlier Elise. Tillett produce a separate bracket for post-2017 models: the EBR 17+. If your car is a 2017 or newer Elise or Exige, the EBR 17+ is the correct product, not this one. If you are unsure which year bracket applies to your car, ask us with the model and year before ordering.
Tillett also list an EBB5 bracket for the Lotus Elise and Exige, designed for the B5 seat. The EBR is the lighter direct-runner version and applies to the current seat range. If you have a B5 seat in a Lotus, check which bracket variant is appropriate before ordering.
Will this fit my seat and car?

Do I still need a sliding runner?
Only if you want fore-and-aft adjustment: the runner sits between this hardware and the seat or floor depending on the stack. Our sliding runner guide explains the options and widths.
Do these bolt straight to the floor of my Exige?
No. Side mounts like this pair bolt onto the car’s original seat mounting points rather than the floor itself, so check what your original seat bolted to before ordering.

These carbon seats are handcrafted in the UK for each order. We do not stock or display them in the showroom, so everything is a special order placed with Tillett when you buy.
