The Cobra Nogaro Speedster, a fixed back bucket seat with a low back. Part number SPD-GC.

A lower shell than the rest of the Nogaro range

Our listing records the Speedster at 700mm tall against 910mm for the Circuit, Street and Club Sport, at 7.5kg rather than 7.9kg, and it is specified for drivers under 6ft where the others are cut for over.

So this is not simply a trim of the same seat. It is the low backed member of the family, and that changes who it suits and where it fits.

Where a low back earns its place is a car with a low roofline, an open car where a tall shell sits proud above the screen line, or a driver who does not need the shoulder height. Where it does not is a tall driver wanting the harness slots up above the shoulder line, which is what the full height Nogaro does and this one cannot.

If your car or your height is anywhere near the margin, tell us both and we will confirm the figures with Cobra before you order rather than have you work from a number we are still checking.

One piece fibreglass, fixed back, side mount only. Harness slots for a 4 point belt. No head support, which follows from the low back.

Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.

Will I fit in this seat?

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.

Working to a date, or not sure which trim to pick? Ring us before you order. Getting the specification right at the start is far easier than changing it later.
