Willans Harnesses Updated For 2023

Our whole range of Willans harnesses has just been updated ahead of 2024. Every belt now has up to date information and FIA homologation details, a wide choice of colours, and bundle items matched to that harness so the right accessories are easy to add.
Willans harnesses are made in the UK from military specification polyester webbing, and the range covers saloons, single seaters, road use and the Caterham and Westfield sports cars.

What is on this page
What has changed on our Willans harnesses
Each Willans listing has been checked and rewritten. The FIA homologation of every belt is shown clearly, alongside the strap widths, buckle type and installation options, and each harness now comes in a wide choice of webbing colours.
We have also attached bundle items to every belt. They are chosen to suit that particular harness, such as pads in the correct width, so you can add the accessories that fit without guessing.
Who Willans are
Willans started in 1967, when Major "Dumbo" Willans, a retired British Army officer, and John Fenning, a former Lotus Formula Junior driver, began making harnesses for motorsport. Their belts were soon in Formula 1, and Willans supplied the restraint systems for Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic Challenger powerboats.
The harnesses are still made in the UK, using military specification polyester webbing.

How we have sorted the range
We have split the Willans harness range by style and homologation, so it is quicker to find the right belt. There are FIA motorsport harnesses, 4 and 6 point saloon belts, single seater harnesses, ECE road harnesses and non FIA belts for track days.
Willans also make harnesses designed to fit Caterham and Westfield cars, and there is a Lotus category too.
