Handed for driver and passenger. For one seat, the single frame is the correct listing.
Doing both together means the two sit at the same height. Matching that later, by eye, in a car you are already sitting in, is harder than it sounds and it is the thing people regret leaving.
The platform reaches further than the badge
The HC838 stem also covers the Golf Mk5, Golf Mk6 and Audi S3 Mk2, which is a fair reflection of how much those cars share underneath.
Useful if you run more than one of them, or if you have seen a seat working in a Golf and wondered whether it carries across.
Recaro stays available
Both frames carry two bolt patterns: 345mm by 271mm for Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, and 405mm by 290mm for Recaro. That matters on an Audi, where plenty of owners want to stay with the brand the factory used.
