One frame covering both generations, which follows from the NA and NB sharing their floor. If you have seen this working in one, it works in the other.
Why it matters more in an NA or NB than in most cars
These are small cars with a low roofline and, in most cases, a roll bar behind your head. Seat height is not a preference here, it is the difference between fitting with a helmet on and not. A properly designed mount gets you down; a fabricated bracket usually does not.
Slider or adjustable
This is the slider, so the seat moves fore and aft. Buy it if anyone else drives the car. If it is yours alone and you want the lowest possible fitment, the NA/NB adjustable mount sits lower and costs less.
PCI’s slider bolts to the base with four bolts rather than the usual two, which they rate as twice as strong.
Construction
Laser cut and CNC formed from a single piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, gloss black powder coat, grade 10.9 8mm hardware, with five and six point sub belt mounting locations built into the mount.

Side mount only, for a competition bucket. Handed, so order twice for a pair.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a side-mount frame: the seat hangs between side brackets bolted through its flanks, the motorsport-style stack that gives fine height and angle control. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
