One frame covering both generations, which is unusual and useful: Ford kept the floor mounting points across the two, so a car from 2008 through to 2017 takes the same part.
What an OMP frame gives you that others do not
OMP frames carry two bolt patterns rather than one. Alongside the 345mm by 271mm spacing shared with Sparco, they also take the wider 405mm by 290mm Recaro pattern. That is why an OMP frame will accept a Recaro where a Sparco frame will not, and it widens the choice of seat considerably.
The flat plates have multi-hole clusters at each corner, which is what makes the two patterns possible.
Fitment
Base mount, bolting to the floor mounting points Ford already provided, so nothing is drilled and the original seats come out whole and can go back in.
A side mount competition shell needs side mounts or adaption bars fitted over the frame.
