A grand tourer wants a reclining seat

The Soarer was built to cover distance quickly and comfortably, and a hard competition bucket works against everything the car is for. No adjustment, harder entry through a coupe aperture, and cold in winter.

The Misano gives you far more lateral hold than the standard seat while keeping the recline, which is the right trade in a car like this. You would notice a bucket every single journey; you notice this one only when the road gets interesting.

Matching the interior

Hand trimmed in the UK in any one or two colour leather with matching or contrasting stitching, diamond quilted cross stitching to the centre panels and a carbon backrest.

Worth using that properly. A Soarer interior has a particular character, and a seat specified to suit it reads as part of the car rather than an addition to it. Tell us your colours at checkout and we will confirm the trimming design before the seat is built.

885mm tall, 590mm wide, 620mm deep on a 520mm base, at 11.5kg. Fibreglass backrest on a steel base, the combination that keeps a reclining mechanism accurate without the weight penalty of building the whole seat in steel. Base mount at the standard Cobra 291mm x 330mm pattern, 4 point harness compatible. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated. Seat only. Tell us the car and we will match a frame.

Will I fit in this seat?
