About this fitment

The 2006 to 2013 Mini hatch, Cooper S and JCW included, with the R55 Clubman and R57 convertible on the same floor. One side; a pair is listed at 562.50.

What else you need

What holds the seat is a pair of Recaro side mounts; what holds the mounts is this frame. Recaro’s statement is that the seat and its side mounts are homologated as a complete system. Order the mounts alongside the frame.

The car side of the fitting

A car-specific base for a Recaro seat: it fixes through the factory seat mounting points and decides how low and how far back the seat sits.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
