Our New Range Of Mirco Seats Is Ready For 2022
Range news, December 2021
We have just added two new Mirco seat ranges to the site, ready for 2022: Mirco classic seats and Mirco track day seats. They bring new designs and options that were not available from Mirco before.
The big difference is approval. These seats are made for fast road and track day use, not FIA motorsport, and leaving out the FIA homologation brings the price down. For drivers who do not need an FIA seat, that makes them very good value.
- Two new ranges: Mirco classic seats and Mirco track day seats
- Road and track use only, no FIA approval
- New: the SX6 track day seat with retro eyelets
- New: the Classic-S, Mirco's first short back seat
- Over 250 colour combinations and seven trim options
- Custom logos and diamond stitched pillows as extras

What is on this page
Two new ranges
Until now our Mirco range has been built around FIA approved seats. The new classic and track day ranges are different: they are for drivers who want a proper bucket seat for fast road driving and track days, but are not entering FIA motorsport events.
None of the seats in the new ranges carry FIA approval, so they are only suitable for fast road use and track days that do not call for an FIA homologated seat. If your championship does, Mirco’s FIA range is still the place to look.
The SX6 track day seat
The SX6 has a design no Mirco seat has had before. It has retro eyelets and small harness slots, which give it a classic look, but it keeps the large side supports and fibreglass shell of a modern track day seat. The shell gives plenty of strength and support, so it is a good mix of old style and new construction.
The Classic-S
From the classic range, the Classic-S is the first short back seat Mirco have made. It captures the retro look well, but where a traditional classic seat would be built on a frame, Mirco have used a fibreglass shell. That makes it stiffer and more stable than a typical classic seat, and the shell looks good in its own right.
It suits older cars best, and Garreth’s advice is to think about the car’s cabin and the driver’s height together before choosing between the short back and taller seats.

Trims, colours and extras
The new seats can be customised just like the rest of the Mirco range. There are over 250 colour combinations, including two-tone designs with different trims and colours, and seven trim options from the popular 3D mesh to vinyl and velour.
Extras include a custom logo or emblem, and diamond stitched pillows can be added to any Mirco seat. If you want a material or extra that is not listed, get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Harnesses for the new seats
For the classic seats we recommend a 4-point harness, which suits their limited harness slots. The track day seats vary, so check the harness compatibility on each listing or ask us before ordering. Our guide to fitting a motorsport harness covers the angles and anchor points.
