Honda Jazz GE Bucket Seat Guide

The second-generation GE Jazz

The old “2008+” label can send a Jazz owner towards the wrong bracket. Cameron would identify the GE chassis first. Garreth would use the second-generation Planted listing for that enquiry.

Cameron would ask for the build details if the car sits near a generation change. Include the chassis identification with the enquiry. Garreth would confirm the mounting application before putting a seat and runner into the order.

Identify the generation before the year

Honda introduced the second-generation Jazz to the UK in 2008. Planted calls its corresponding second-generation application Honda Fit and labels it 2007-2012, with part family SB360.

Those market dates overlap. Use the GE chassis identification and the actual car details to confirm the bracket, particularly for imports and cars registered near a model change. This guide covers the second generation; later Jazz generations need their own application check.

Specify the steering side and seat type

Choose the right-hand-drive driver or passenger option to suit the car.

A base-mounted seat needs its mounting pattern matched to the bracket or runner above it. A side-mounted bucket adds the seat-specific side mounts to that assembly. Confirm which pieces are included and how they connect before ordering, so that you can compare the complete installed height.

Check clearance in the driving position

  • Compare the proposed shell width with the available room at both the base and shoulders.
  • Measure the seated height with the runner and mounts included.
  • Check steering wheel reach and the adjustment needed by the usual drivers.

If you already own a seat, send its exact model and mounting drawing through our contact page. We can then compare the fixing pattern with the bracket options.

Looking for the earlier GD guide?

For a 2006-2007 first-generation car, start with our Honda Jazz GD seat guide and the SB362 application.

Keep the generation distinction when comparing product pages: SB360, SB362 and the later Fit bracket family are separate applications.

Our starting recommendation

For your GE Jazz, Cameron would start with the chassis identification and the full mounting assembly, then Garreth would narrow the order to the parts that suit the car and your driving position.

Send us those details through our contact page, or call 0115 647 8650 and we can work through the options with you.
