The seat is the same Monaco Pro sold across the range. What makes this listing Defender specific is the brackets it comes with, not the shell.

So you are not compromising on a seat built for a small market. It is the same fully steel plated shell with a solid back and base for intrusion protection, the same FIA 8855-1999 homologation and the same integral head pad and shoulder support.

Fixed back, and what that means in a Defender

There is no recline. In a vehicle used for long drives to sites, shows or trials that is the thing to think about hardest, because a seat that holds you beautifully for an hour can wear on you over four.

If the vehicle does distance, the reclining seats in the Cobra range give you most of the support and keep the adjustment. If it is used hard and briefly, or if you run harnesses, the Monaco is the right seat.

11.4kg. Base mounted or side mounted. Slots for a 4 or 6 point harness. Drivers under 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.

FIA seats carry an expiry tied to their manufacture date and scrutineers check it, so ask us for the date on current stock if you compete.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
