The Lancia Zeta was built from 1994 to 2002 on the PSA Sevel platform alongside the Peugeot 806, Citroen Evasion, and Fiat Ulysse. It was Lancia’s entry in the large people-carrier segment. One of the options available on the Zeta was a rotating passenger seat that swivelled outward to ease access for rear passengers. Cars equipped with this option have a different floor mounting arrangement for the passenger position to accommodate the swivel mechanism.
Part number 686009 is the Recaro direct-fit sub-frame for the Lancia Zeta in the configuration with the rotating seat base. The floor positions for the rotary mechanism differ from the standard fixed-seat layout, and this sub-frame is designed for that specific floor. At £179.98 it is the lower-priced of the two Zeta sub-frames listed here. The 686009-1848, listed separately at £224.97, covers the non-rotating variant.
Although the Zeta shares its fundamental platform with the Peugeot 806, Recaro produced separate sub-frames for the two cars because the detailed floor geometry differs between manufacturers despite the shared origin. The 806 sub-frame (RECBQMQ4338) is not the correct part for a Zeta.
This sub-frame works with Recaro seats only and covers base-mountable bucket seats and reclining sport seats. Side-mounted competition shells are not covered. Pricing is for one frame.
