A Recaro direct fit sub-frame for the Seat Leon Mk3 5F, 414.75. One frame, for one seat, on one side of the car.

The car it is for

The 5F is the 2012 to 2020 Leon, Cupra included. It sits on the same platform as the Golf Mk7 and the Octavia Mk3, and Recaro list one frame for all three; this is that frame under the Leon’s name.

On the factory bolts

Vehicle-specific, so it fixes to the seat mounting points this car left the factory with, and sits a Recaro seat at the height Recaro intended.

How a Recaro mounts

The seat does not bolt straight to the frame. Recaro side mounts go in between. The FIA label on a Recaro seat goes with Recaro side mounts, homologated together, and those are sold on their own listing.

Additional seat belt brackets: Each seat frame can be used for a variety of applications including road car reclining seats throuh to Motorsport FIA seats. Seat belt brackets are not required in a range of application so manufacturers generally do not supply them with their frame kits. If you require seat belt brackets please contact us in advance

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Recaro frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.

Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.

Recaro seats are produced in batches for the UK market

We receive Recaro deliveries regularly and hold good stock of the popular models, so many go out quickly.

Demand for the bucket seats is worldwide and production runs to Recaro’s own schedule, so the less common models and trims can take considerably longer. Ask us and we will tell you where a specific seat stands.

Before you order

If you need a seat for a date, ring us first. We would rather give you an honest lead time up front than have you waiting on a seat that is between production runs.
