The Endurance Motorsport Classic Mini Sub-frames (part MAM2A18U297) are steel subframes for installing aftermarket bucket seats in a Classic Mini. The Classic Mini’s floor mounting positions are specific to the era and nothing about them lines up with modern seat hardware without an adapter. These subframes bolt to the Mini’s original floor points and present a standard side-mount-compatible top face for the seat installation above.

At £87.50, these are sold as a pair covering driver and passenger positions in one order. The Classic Mini has a narrow cabin and the seat choice matters: shells wider than the car’s sill-to-tunnel gap cause problems regardless of how good the subframe is. The subframe is only one part of a Mini bucket seat build; the seat shell width, the side mounts, and any runners all need to be compatible with the Mini’s cabin width and floor topology.

What do I need to fit it to my car?

How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.
