Which Is Right For You? Recaro Pole Position FIA VS ABE
We have both the Recaro Pole Position FIA and the ABE Version in-store on our display ready for viewing and Testing in 2022. These seats have the same design but with slightly different dimensions to suit different shaped drivers. The Recaro Pole Position is most suited for drivers with a 30-36inch waist as it’s a narrow seat, great for cars with limited interior space.
The Recaro Pole Position With ABE...
The Recaro Pole Position With ABE is a larger version of the standard Pole Position FIA because its leg supports at the bottom of the seat bend out wider allowing this seat to be suitable for bigger drivers. The Pole position ABE seat is most suited for drivers with a 32-38inch waist. However, the Pole Position With ABE doesn’t have any FIA approval and is only suitable for fast road and track day use, unlike the standard pole position FIA that can be used in any motorsport event.Â

The Recaro Pole Position FIA...
The Recaro Pole Position Bucket seat is now in-store for viewing. It has a seat shell of glass fiber-reinforced plastic material (GRP), the pronounced seat cushion and seatback bolsters offer optimum vehicle control in extreme driving situations. This seat has 5 harness slots to allow for a full 5 or 6 point harness and the cushion supports are washable to help increase the life span of the seat.
