The VW California had a long production run due to it’s popularity. During that time we’ve seen literally hundreds of modified California’s visit us for upgrades. We’ve got you covered when it comes to upgrading the look of your interior.
We usually start upgrading seats to provide more support on faster cornering , however, with the California, we’ve found it comes down to increasing the level of comfort, support, design and style.Â
The recommendations we provide are to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported, but also provide that design flare we know most California drivers are after. Why upgrade your seats if they don’t look fantastic?Â

We recommend these pieces of installation equipment so successfully install the bucket seats we suggest in our guide.Â
Each frame we have available fits base mounted seats matching the same brand or recommended brands.Â
The seats and brackets we recommend will not work with swivel base units.

Recommended bucket seats:
We recommend these 4 bucket seats based on previous California customer cars.
The interior cockpit is suitable for seats up to around 580mm wide at the shoulder.
Recommended reclining seats:
We recommend these reclining sports seats based on previous VW California customer cars.
Tried and tested we know they fit the bolt points of the Corbeau and Recaro kits perfectly with our sliding runners.
