We recently supplied our customer Dave with a set of Cobra Sebring T motorsport seats for his Subaru Impreza rally car, and he has sent us the photos and a video of the car in action.
The car is a third generation Impreza, the GRB hatchback, and it looks and sounds great on the stages. There is nothing more satisfying than sitting back and enjoying the noise.

Dave's Impreza on the stages
A rally car asks a lot of a seat. The car is moving about constantly on loose surfaces, the driver is braced against the bolsters for the whole stage, and the co-driver needs to stay still enough to read the notes. Dave’s Impreza runs the Cobra Sebring T, a shell with head restraints built in, and the photos show the car being driven the way it was built to be.
The Sebring T is one of Cobra's head restraint seats. The shell wraps around the shoulders and head, and it is built with the shoulder and harness slot positions set up for a HANS device.
Cobra seats can also be fitted to the driver with cushions in different thicknesses, which is how two people of different builds can end up comfortable in the same shell. We talk each customer through that when they order.
