The Sparco SK5000i child seat has joined our range, and we have it ready to dispatch or to collect from the showroom. It is a forward facing seat approved to ECE R129/03, the i-Size standard, and it is made to grow with a child from 76cm up to 150cm tall.
Sparco are better known to most of our customers for race seats, and the SK5000i carries some of that styling into the back of the family car. Here is what it offers.

Approved to ECE R129/03
The SK5000i is approved to ECE R129/03, the i-Size regulation for child seats. Seats under R129 are sized by the child’s height, which is easier to get right than the older weight groups, and the regulation includes side impact testing.
The seat is forward facing and covers children from 76cm to 150cm tall, so one seat can stay with a child from the toddler years for a long time as they grow. As with any child seat, follow Sparco’s instructions for which height range uses which fitting.
What the seat offers
Height adjustable headrest. The headrest moves up as the child grows, so the seat keeps fitting properly across its range.
Reclining system. The seat angle can be adjusted, which helps on longer journeys.
Impact protection and a wider backrest. Sparco list strong impact protection among the features, and the backrest is wider than on many child seats.
ISOFIX. The seat fits with ISOFIX, and Sparco describe it as a universal design suited to most cars.
Three colours
The SK5000i comes in grey, blue or red, each with black and Sparco branding. It is a nice touch if the car already has Sparco seats or harnesses up front, or if you simply want something smarter than the usual grey child seat.
