Some deliveries get unpacked quietly. This one had people wandering over from the counter. A big consignment from Recaro landed with us this week and the Pole Position ABE is back on the shelf, in black velour and in Ambla leather with Dinamica suede centres, after a spell where we could not get them for love nor money.
Cameron had the camera out before the pallet was off the wagon, and the photographs through this page are all from today. We are really pleased about this one, and honestly a bit relieved. The Pole Position is the seat people ask for by name, and telling callers it was out of stock never got any easier. The pairs and single seats are live on the site right now, the numbers are limited, and there are eight seats in the building ready for collection or immediate dispatch.

The same wagon solved another regular phone call. The Sportster CS is back on display, and the pair on the floor is in the Ambla leather with Dinamica suede centres, the trim this seat looks its best in.
If the Pole Position is the race seat you can live with, the Sportster CS is its reclining cousin: the same hold through the shoulders, a proper recline and a tilt for anyone climbing in behind, which is why it goes into so many daily driven fast cars. One pair in that trim is here now, and the single seat listing carries the rest of the options.

If you have not sat in one, the short version of forty years of reputation: a fibreglass shell, side mounted, that holds you like a race seat while staying genuinely liveable on the road. The ABE version is the road and track approved one, which is why it ends up in so many fast BMWs and hot hatches that still do the commute.
The velour is the classic look and takes daily use well. The Ambla leather with the suede centres is the one that makes people stop at the showroom window, and it wipes clean, which velour does not. Single seats start at £1,039.50 including VAT.
