The TRS Carbon Navigators Footwell (part number MA510-0001) is a one-piece carbon fibre floor panel that replaces the bare metal or carpet in the co-driver’s footwell with a properly shaped platform. It combines a flat floor section with a raised footrest, and non-slip pads are bonded to the grip surfaces so the co-driver’s feet stay in place with wet or muddy footwear.
TRS redesigned this product to be 102mm (4 inches) narrower than the original version, specifically to allow fitment in front-wheel-drive as well as rear-wheel-drive cars. The original was too wide for the transmission tunnel clearance on most FWD cars. If you have an older version of this footwell and are fitting it to an FWD car, measure the width against your tunnel before assuming the new version will be a direct swap.
At £165 this is less than the combined driver-and-navigator package (23P5120 at £334.95 for both footwells). If you only need the navigator’s position, this is the right listing. If you are fitting both, the combined package works out cheaper.
The footwell is universal rather than cut to a specific car. The floor plan dimensions and footrest height need to suit your car’s footwell depth, and in a stripped rally car with no carpet or soundproofing, the floor-to-seat relationship is often different from a road car. Check the footrest height against where your co-driver’s feet naturally sit before bonding it in place.
Lightweight carbon shell. Universal fitment. Made in England.
