The TBFIA02 is Tillett’s FIA-approved aluminium side mounting bracket, covering the broadest seat compatibility range in the Tillett bracket catalogue. Compatible seats include the B6, B6 XL, B6 Screamer, B6 Screamer XL, B7, B7 XL, B8, B9, B10, B10 XL, C1 and C1 XL. Part number TBFIA02.

Aluminium construction. The FIA approval means the TBFIA02 satisfies seat-mounting requirements under FIA Technical Regulations for competition classes that mandate compliant fittings. Check your specific class regulations to confirm whether FIA-approved brackets are required for your series.

Against the Tillett PTBO at £230.42: the TBFIA02 costs more. The price difference is the FIA approval. The PTBO covers several of the same seat models and is the correct bracket for most track day and non-regulated club racing use. If your class regulations require homologated mounting hardware, the TBFIA02 is what you need. If they do not, the PTBO is the lower-cost option.

These carbon seats are handcrafted in the UK for each order. We do not stock or display them in the showroom, so everything is a special order placed with Tillett when you buy.

Lead times depend on the model and the options you choose, so ring us before ordering if you are working to a date.

Because each seat is made for you, our special order terms apply once production has begun.

Tell us your height, weight and the car, and we will confirm the right size and mounting before anything is made. Tillett sizing is specific and worth getting right first time.
