Direct fit sub-frames for the Renault Clio Mk2, covering March 1998 to 2005. Part number 00499060. Sold individually: one frame per side.
The Clio Mk2 is a common car for track day and club competition builds, and these frames are the clean installation route. They drop onto the original seat fixing points and bring the bolt pattern up to the standard 345mm x 271mm used by base-mount sport seats from Sparco, OMP and Corbeau. Compatible with all three brands’ base-mount seats, not just Sparco.
At £72.50, slightly less than the Mk3 frame (00499103 at £75.50). The Mk3 frame covers October 2005 to 2010 if you have the later car.
Sold as single frames. Order two for both sides. RHD driver side and RHD passenger side are both available. For fore-aft adjustment, pair with the Sparco sliding runners (SS0049302-X2, £65 per pair). The sub-frames are fixed position without them.
Check the production date on your Clio. The Mk2 ran from March 1998 through 2005, but production extended into late 2005 in some markets, so a 2005 car could be either generation depending on build month. Steel, painted.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Sparco frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
